Dr. Hasan finished medical school at University of Baghdad College of Medicine in 2008. He then did his residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, followed by his cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. He has training in general cardiology, complex coronary intervention, peripheral interventions, and did a year of dedicated structural heart interventions. He is both passionate and experienced in complex coronary interventions, mechanical support, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, PFO/ASD closure, LAAO/Watchman device, MitraClip, and mechanical thrombectomy for acute pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis.
