Cardiovascular Consultants’ Doctor Joins List of Best Doctors in America

Phoenix, Arizona, December 7, 2005 – Dr. Marc Thames, a physician with Cardiovascular Consultants Ltd. has been selected by peers to be recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America.

Best Doctors is a resource offered exclusively through employers and insurance companies to consumers around the world who are suffering from a serious illness or injury. According to Best Doctors, only about four percent of all doctors in the United States are honored this way by their colleagues as the result of a nationwide survey in which doctors cast more than one million votes.

Marc Thames, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine and in the specialty of cardiovascular diseases. He has been with Cardiovascular Consultants Ltd. since 2004. Previously Dr. Thames had worked as the Chief in the Cardiology Section of Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Thames received his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia, School of Medicine, performed his residency and fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
He also was a cardiovascular research fellow at Harvard Medical School, senior research fellow at the Mayo Foundation and clinical fellow in cardiovascular disease at the Mayo Clinic.
